Attic Treasure is an episode of the Berenstain Bears 2003 tv show.

Summary[]

Professor Actual Factual is setting up a special exhibit at the museum which includes many different artifacts including the first map of Bear country, a shovel used to build town hall and even a bucket used by the volunteer fire department. After the last of the donations come in, Papa says he bought a space they could use to help the exhibit. The family decides to look in the attic for anything to add to the exhibit, such as an army hat. While digging through the attic looking for something of historic importance to donate, Mama, Papa and the cubs come across all sorts of family mementos. They reminisce about Papa and Brother's first father & son ball game when they find a glove, Mama and Papa's teapot which was a wedding day gift. They find Brother's Twirl-a-hoop which Brother used to play with to cheer up a sick Sister and a stuffed bunny given to Sister the day she was born. That night, Papa feels bad they still didn't find anything to add to the museum, Sister offers Papa her bunny for the exhibit, while he's grateful Papa explains that it has value to them not Bear Country. Brother points out that while none of the keepsakes are of any historical importance to Bear Country, the Bear Family learn that having a chance to share their family's past is a way of bringing them closer together. They set up their own exhibit in the attic with everything they found, while admiring it Papa tells the family that they did find something for the exhibit, a bone Little Lady dug up is actually the bone of a dinosaur.
