Rules

General

1. You must be 13 years or older to edit on the Fandom network - In accordance to the COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and Fandom's guidelines, you need to be at least thirteen years of age to have a Fandom account. If we find out you aren't 13 or older, you will be reported to the Fandom staff and your account will be blocked indefinitely.
2. No vandalism - This means that you should not make disruptive edits, or do other things that most readers will find annoying. Depending on the severity, you will receive a warning or a block.
3. No explicit content - The Berenstain Bears Wiki is for children. Uploading explicit content to this wiki is illegal and will not be tolerated. Users caught breaking this rule will be reported to Fandom staff and will have their account permanently blocked.
4. No edit warring - According to Wikipedia, edit warring occurs when multiple people revert edits back and forth. If you see someone edit warring, notify an administrator immediately. If someone posts false information you may revert it. However, if they revert it back, please contact an Admin instead of reverting it again.
5. No sockpuppetry - Sockpuppetry happens when someone creates an alternate account to avoid a ban or cause general disruption. If you are blocked from the wiki, wait until your block expires. All of your sock accounts will be blocked indefinitely and your account's current ban will be extended. You may sockpuppet if, and only if:
   1. You've lost access to your account and can't get back in.
   2. You use your current account for another wiki.
   3. Your previous account was disabled and you wanted to make a new one.
   4. Anything on WP:SOCKLEGIT
6. No spamming - Spamming occurs when you insert blatant nonsense into anything on this wiki, ranging from articles, blogs, and comments.
7. No advertising - This falls under solicitous behavior, which will not be tolerated on this wiki. Examples include: A TV show/video game/movie you're making, another Fandom wiki, etc.
8. Always sign your comments - When writing on a talk page, use four tildes (~), a signature template, or manually to sign your comments. Your comment may be removed without question.
9. No backseat moderating - It's our job to keep things under control, not yours. If you see someone coming close to, or directly break the rules, report it to an admin immediately. Do not try to take matters into your own hands. When an admin or bureaucrat tells you to stop doing something, stop and do what they say.

Commenting and Message Walls

1. No profane or offensive language - Swearing towards other people will not be tolerated on this wiki, as swearing hurts other people's feelings.
2. Be respectful to other users - Do not engage in insults or personal attacks. Your comment will be removed and you may get a warning or be blocked depending on the severity.
3. No advertising - As with the general rules, advertising of any sort will not be tolerated.

Photos and Videos

1. Do not upload fan made content - This means that you should not upload such content, even if it is related to The Berenstain Bears. You may, however, use those pictures for your user page, as long as they are age-appropriate.
2. Do not upload images that are not related to the Berenstain Bears.
3. No explicit content.
   1. Uploading any fetish/ecchi files to this wiki is highly forbidden, as the Berenstain Bears is a children's franchise. Doing so will result in a permanent block.
