The Berenstain Bears By the Sea is the first segment of the twelfth episode in season two of The Berenstain Bears. It first aired on October 21, 2003 and is based on the book of the same name.
Summary[]
When the Bear family arrives at their vacation beach house, the cubs balk at spending any time unpacking and cleaning. They want to go swimming immediately. Seeing the opportunity to teach the cubs a lesson about family cooperation, Mama and Papa decide to join the cubs on the beach. When the cubs realize their swimsuits are hopelessly buried somewhere in the trunk of the car, they become more willing to help their parents.
Difference From The Book[]
- In the book ,it starts off with the family already driving, in the cartoon, the family was getting ready to go
- While on the car on the show , Sister and Brother where seen playing around, in the book Brother was seen asking Papa if we made yet
- In the book, while driving to the beach house, Mama is seen where her yellow hat ,however in the episode Mama is wearing her regular hat in the whole ride
- In the book the door is pink and there are window shutters. But in the episode the door is brown and there are no shutters
- In the book, the curtain is pink while the show the curtains are blue
- When the family open the door , sand near the door was there as in the book but on the show there was no sand
- In the book, there are job the cubs did do, like make a bed and rake and sister and brother where doing there job while wile wearing there swimsuit . On the show ,Sister and brother where doing other jobs, clean the window and dust in regular outfit
- To keep the cub waiting, they had a snack. On show, they didn't
- Mama and Papa where eating the snack with the cubs on the book, but Mama was reading a magazine an Papa was sanding a wooden fish on the show
- In the book, after eating the cubs went right into the beach, in the show they where getting the stuff out of there car
- In the book , Brother is wearing a red short sleeve with blue pants, on the show he was only seen wearing red and white trunks
- in the book, mama and papa just swam right in the water . But on the show, Papa was seen having a float and giving it to mama
