—Opening quote
The Berenstain Bears Go Up and Down is the first segment of the fourteenth and final episode in season 3 of The Berenstain Bears. It first aired on Treehouse TV on September 12, 2003 and later on PBS on September 10, 2004. It is based on the book of the same name, although with a different premise.
Summary[]
While at the Bruins' cabin, Papa is in a hurry to go fishing and repeatedly forgets things in the process. The cubs remind him to plan ahead, but he initially dismisses the idea.
Differences From the Book[]
- In the book, the story tells that the cubs in blue team and red team go up and down the escalators. This was a math reader. In the cartoon, the story tells Papa taking Brother, Sister and Lizzy out to go fishing.
