The Berenstain Bears and the Perfect Fishing Spot is an episode of The Berenstain Bears series.
Summary[]
Deciding that they're going to make Gran and Gramps' anniversary dinner special, Papa sets out to catch a prize winning fish as the main course and Mama sets out to make one of her blue ribbon pies for dessert. Sister helps Papa with the fishing while Brother helps Mama make the pie. Out in the ocean, Papa and Sister catch lots of fish, unfortunately Papa throws each one out claiming that they are not prize winning. When they do manage to catch plenty of prize winning fish they quickly realize the fish were only trying to escape a fishing boat's net. Meanwhile Mama and Brother try to get enough berries and use the right ingredients for the pie. Once the pie is done though, Little Lady causes the pie to fall to the ground and make a mess. Ultimately it's the cubs who help Mama and Papa realize that it's not what's on the table but who comes to it that makes a dinner special. Both Mama and Papa see they were trying to win a contest when they were supposed to make a meal for two special bears. So they go to the store to get the perfect dinner; Papa finds the perfect fish and Mama the perfect pie. In the end Gran and Gramps declare it is the best anniversary dinner they ever had.
